"Sup Dude, I'm 10...months"
Logan was a little "Biker Dude" last night. All he needed was a pair of chaps and a leather jacket. Oh and maybe a helmet (minor detail).HaPpY hAlLoWeEn!
Here we are, "You & Me Plus He!" (We should have a show). Halloween was not exactly exciting this year but it was fun to dress Logan up. I had my eyes peeled for this Monster costume I had seen sometime in August or September but I wasn't about to pay full price or buy the wrong size. So I put it off and put it off, but finally the Saturday before I found it on sale! Yippee! Rob was a UPS man and I was a Cheerleader. Mine was lame but it's better than not dressing up at all.
We stopped by my mom's house first. It was being watched by my Nana and Aunt Julie. No my mom wasn't there, she was working. Lame-O! But she can't seem to get over the fact that someone might come knocking on her door and no one would be there to answer it. It very well could be the end of the world, according to my mom. She is the reason we didn't get home until 11 o'clock at night. We will never do it again. So the night went as such: I had Logan go down for a late nap because Rob had to work late. So by the time we left the house it was 7:30! We stopped by my mom's to see Nana and Julie (10 minute visit), then we went to Dustin, Megan and June's (my cousin's, 10 minute visit) then to Dustin's parents Tracy & Gary, my mom's best friend Cheri and her daughter Sophie were there also (20 minute visit) then to Woodinville to see my mom, she was at work mind you I hate visiting her while she is working, anyway (15 minute visit) then we ended at Todd & Jorgene's which is where we should have been all night because it's Todd's Birthday on Halloween. But nooooo, my mom had to throw a temper tantrum. We will be going to family and friends that live in the same zip code next year. If anyone wants to see us they can check out the blogg or come to our house. Sorry if that sounds a little harsh but it took me all weekend to get Logan back on his schedule. My kind of Halloween is taking the kids trick or treating then coming home curling up on the couch watching Halloween movies and answering the door for the little ones. I love to see all the costumes. Hopefully next year we will be in a place where we will get lots of kiddies in costumes.Cruzin'

Where's Waldo? I Mean Logan?
Just a week before this picture we had to lower his mattress! Now we have to lower the stickin thing again. Can you see the sock that is stuck in between the crib rails and the bumper? Both of his sock were off and soaking wet. When Rob went in to get him he hadn't turned the light yet, he put his hands in the crib and was feeling around for his paci. He thought that I put a wet wipe in his crib when I laid him down, that's how wet the socks were. SICK BAG!
"Oh looky here what have I found... a string that I'm not supposed to have". I think they (the designers that make bumpers) need to come up with another type of attachment system. FYI: The strings suck! I have had to sew 4 strings back on because they suck.

He almost has the concept of getting on his knees. Not quite there.
A Caveman and A Daddy
Somewhere along the way I picked up a Caveman. I couldn't remember where I found him so I just decided to keep him for now. But one brisk morning I found a note that said he had gone home. But Logan & I did get Daddy back...
Hooray!!! He's back. No more scratchy face. I hated it at first but then it started to "grow" on me. At the end it was really soft. Rob said he was going to grow it out until November 1st but it didn't happen. I'm just late posting, like usual. He shaved it off a week early. Chicken! But the look on Logan's face was priceless. Rob came out of the shower and Logan and I were on the bed. Rob called for Logan, he looked over and gave Rob the sweetest smile. Like I really had traded a Caveman for Daddy and now he's back! You could totally tell that Logan recognized Rob's clean shaven face. Logan loved it when Rob would tickle his neck or belly with his hairy face. I would come into the room after hearing baby giggles and find a half naked baby with pink splotches all over. We had a good time with the Caveman, but we had to say "Goodbye".
I Think I Can, I Think I Can...
Logan is finally deciding that crawling might be in his best interest. I've been trying to tell him that it was. We must be speaking two different languages. I don't speak midget real well anymore.
I've been trying not to enable him but putting his toys farther away from him. He usually falls onto his side then rolls or he folds himself in half. That's my personal favorite. It's great to watch the wheels turning in his head trying to figure out how to do things by himself instead of crying to get them. He's getting so big!
