Christmas: Part III "The Many Faces of Logan"

I can't believe how entertaining Logan is at such a young age. As soon as we prep the camera in front of him, a little orange light comes on and this si what he does......

My Mom bought us 60 picture stamps, this is the picture we used.

What's up Elvis!

Christmas Morning: Part II

Christmas morning we went over to Rob's parents house. Aaron & Sarah (the newly weds) graced us with their presence all the way from Idaho. they just moved over there a couple weeks before. But we were glad to see them again. Because it will probably be a while before we see them again, with school starting soon. And lets face it, it costs a lot of money to travel. Logan got a walker (like an old man has) but for babies. He really needed one. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Schmalle! It makes all kinds of noises when he walks, there are balls and shapes that go in the holes and they make noise too. The best part is that the wheels lock. He's not so good at walking, even with help. So when the wheels are unlocked he flies forward and usually eats it! But when the wheels are locked it is harder to push, but not too hard, just right. He is still (2 weeks later) a little scared and lacks the confidence. But we keep cheering him on when he does walk with it.
Ma (Rob's Grandma), Aaron and Sarah.
Logan got the "plug" cuz he kept eating the tissue paper. I knew he would love to open the presents, but he would sit there with a piece of tissue paper and rip it into a million little pieces. Of course some would end up in the mouth, yuk!
Even with all the snow, my Mom was bound and determend to make it to our house. It took her some 4 hours or so (she lives in Carnation). We however, did not have our Christmas with them until we could "rescue" Nana (she lives in between Monroe and Woodinville). They had a lot more snow than us and we were stuck. The manager of our Condo finally plowed the hill that we live on, so Julie (cuz she has the bigger vehicle) set out to "rescue" Nana (the day after Christmas). Low and behold they made it home safe and sound. Julie was soaked to the bone (she got stuck a couple of times and had to dig herself out). So we hosted a refuge camp in our 1200 sq ft condo. There is barely enough room for Me, Rob, Julie and Logan. Let alone my Mom, Garrett and Nana. It was a really long week!
Julie and Nana happy with their Christmas present form Me, Rob and Logan. I made blankets for everyone. My Mom and Garrett are using theirs in the picture above this one.

Christmas Morning

This is a clip of our Christmas morning. The whole video is really long. He made out pretty good! There were so many stocking stuffers that it filled up 2! We got him Mega Blocks, Elmo couch (Santa) Glowworm, Cookie Monster Piano, clothes, wooden blocks, balls, bubbles, those capsules that dissolve in the bath and have a sponge animal inside (my favorite as a kid), and some boring necessities. I know we got him more but it's all a blur still. But it was awesome! It was way more fun for Rob and I just knowing that it was his first Christmas. I was a little emotional.

Blogging on pause...

You will have to stay tuned for pictures from Christmas morning, because we didn't take any! We video taped the whole thing though. However, I have never uploaded videos from our video camera to the computer before so I have to wait for Rob's help. But don't fret there are many more Christmas's that we had besides our family one. I did take pictures of those. But I want to post everything in order. And his Birthday Party pictures are coming too!

Cookies for Santa

Logan put out homemade cookies and some milk for Santa before he went to bed Christmas Eve night. Did Santa come?

Snow Day: Part 2 "Winter Wonderland"

This snow day we got to play with Daddy, so fun! We took Logan out to the parking lot were Rob's car was buried. Nobody was out that night so we played!
This is Logan sitting on the hood of Rob's car.

Trying to get Logan to amuse us by making a snow angel. He got a big glob of snow in his face. I thried to wipe it off but my hands were wet and cold. Poor baby.

Rob gave his car a hair cut.Catching snowflakes.Trying to crawl in a foot of snow.
Can you guess what I am trying to do?Yep, I made a snow angel too! Unlike Logan, I had snow in my underwear. That IS what I look most forward to every year.I am so glad the snow is finally gone. It made Christmas really hard. I hated being all cooped up everyday all day. Sorry if I sound like the Grinch, it really was beautiful, but Mother Nature if you're listening/reading this, just a little at a time and no sticking to the roads please. Thank You!

I wuv my monkey

This is how we found Logan one night. So sweet!Do you see how big he is? He practically takes up half of his crib. How time flies when you're having fun!
