Rob, Logan and I were able to get away for a couple of days thanks to the Crossley's (again)! Birch Bay is almost to the Canadian border. We saw lots of ducks and seagulls. And fed them a whole loaf of bread. The little boys thought that was pretty cool (or maybe us adults enjoyed it more).

This is the mama cow. She was nursing a baby calf while we were talking to them. So sweet. She was also a pig. Every time we tried to hand feed them grass, she would barge in front of the other cows and eat it. I know she's nursing and all, but really?
The boys had a grand time playing with the pumpkins and gourds.

Logan not really sure about this situation.Keri and I found a couple of $1 stores. AWESOME! So we picked up a few things (right Keri, just a few?!). We found some shaving cream and thought the boys would love to play in it. And it's such easy clean up too.
Jack was awesome, he started washing himself with it. Ha-larious!
Logan needed a little more motivation, but learned to enjoy it.

One time, our nursery leaders thought it would be fun to bring shaving cream for the kids to play in during church...still not sure how I feel about it!!!

Cassidy- I would be pissed if they let my kid play with it in their church clothes! For us, it's a naked time game only, then straight to the tub.
How fun, those pictures of Birch Bay remind me of how much fun we had up there every summer growing up. It's such a fun place to escape to, glad you guys could get away!
