Oh Baby, Oh Baby!

So for those of you that don't know, my birthday is coming. It's March 6th! I'm turning a quarter of a century. I know that 10 years from now I will laugh at myself for being excited about this milestone, but a lot of my friends are 30 or over. I am always being teased that I'm the baby (Bekki I'm talking to you). Anyway, Rob came home Friday early from work with a Dell box in his hand. Can you imagine the thought that went through my head? A lot of things but not "is there a laptop in there?". See for yourself...Oh yeah baby, it's pretty and red. My favorite color.

Yep, it's really that big.
I never thought that I would ever get a laptop. Rob noticed how excited I was to use my mom's mini laptop. And I was actually ok with having one of those. But to think that I got big, wide screen one, that's red to top it off...freakin cool man!
Now Rob and I can be on the computer at the same time and I won't get all bent out of shape (yes I'm admitting my faults because my husband deserves the credit). He never gets mad at me when I'm on it and he's home, but I sure get cranky when he's on it at home. But now, I am happy as a camper.
Oh and I hear that Rob is going to download WOW (World Of Warcraft) on my computer. I gave him the stink-eye. But he says that it's to play only when we go to Kris and Bekki's. Him and Kris play WOW together. I just can't believe that that stupid game will be on MY pretty red computer. Oh, beggars can't be choosers. I did get the best birthday present EVER!
Thank you my love, I'm sure you will reep the benefits for a long time (wink, wink)!

"Mom, I need a dip"

"A dip for what?" "My cheese Quesadilla" "Why do you always have to have a dip, why can't you just eat it?!" "Because, Daddy told me that everything tastes better with a dip (don't tell him I told you, it was supposed to be a secret)."
So the dip of choice with a quesadilla is.....

Please, no pictures I'm not even decent.

No, not ice cream silly, sour cream. Yummy-yummy for my tummy.

Random Cheese

Logan used to love his exersaucer. But now he has smartened up and realizes that I use it for a holding cell when I have to walk away from him for a long period of time(more than 60 seconds). The other day I put him in his beloved exersaucer and walked away. Much to my astonishment (not) he fell apart, just like a croissant straight from the oven. So of course I needed to get a picture of this little tantrum, mostley for Keri. He never cries when she's over or we are over at her house. I picked up the camera, still crying, turn the camera on, still crying but watching me at the same time, I hold the camera up and push the button, low and behold he stops crying and gives me the cheese face. So this is what I got... What a stinker!
Kisses for baby.

We went to our friends house on Sunday for a delicious Elk steak dinner. It was the best home made dinner I have eaten in a long long time. Thanks Witters, we love you guys! Anyway, back to the purpose of this post. Kristen and I were talking about Logan being so photogenic, she said that Mitchel (almost 3 years {on my birthday!}) was the same way. Then he discovered that he could be the total opposite and turn away from the camera. Kinda smart if you ask me, she would have to bribe him with his favorite things. I really hope Logan will not be this smart and that he will just love being in front of the camera. Because I am getting pretty used to all of his pictures turning out so cute!

I Yike Pokemon Uncle Root

The last time Garrett was over Julie took him to get a Pokemon card holder/binder. He had a great time filling all the pages. But all that hard work almost went down the drain when Logan woke up from his nap. What does a binder filled with paper cards look like to a 1 year old? Snack time! Garrett was on his A-game once Logan's sticky fingers attacked the binder. Logan gets all crazy when he can actually reach something he's not supposed to touch. It's like his body goes in to fast-forward mode. As soon as he see's that someone is coming after him/the object of desire he takes off like race car style. He doesn't care what's in his way, he will run it over with his 25lb body. He even leaves the object of desire behind. Silly little boy.
So when Uncle Root decided to show Logan his collection all three boys were in on the action. Rob was there mostly for the protection of Root (Garrett). Logan can get a little crazy like I said before. What studious faces.
Ok, that's more like it! Logan must have thought that Root was too funny.
So cute.

Can you see what his shirt says?
Here's a clue: It totally explains his expression.
Answere: Grilled Cheese.
Cheese is the only word that explains every smile these days. His smile jsut melts my heart into a puddle on the floor.

Does Rob have a growth?

Why are my boys so cute? Don't care, I'm keepin' em!

I'm throwin' in the towel

Ever since Logan was able to pull himself up on things the TV has been his BFF. He absolutely loves it without a shadow of a doubt. Whether it is on or off he thinks his slobbery hands need to be all over it. Now if this TV was ours then I wouldn't so much care about it (it's kinda old and we got it for dirt cheap, or free I can't remember) but no, this wonderful TV is Julie's. And if I have to mention that it is a really nice expensive TV. So grimy 13 month old hands do not, I repeat do not belong on this TV. I have tried so many things to keep him away, but in the end he always outsmarts me.
So yesterday I decided that I would put 2 big storage boxes that have Christmas decorations in them in front of the TV. I walked away thinking ha I gotcha this time little boy. I sat down at the computer and turned to look at him to see if he had finally given up.
He*% No he didn't give up. He was on top of those boxes before I even sat down. What a little sh#@ head! But I couldn't help but crack up. It was so funny. I can't believe how fast his little brain works. What a little smarty pants.
Oh and I'm sure you can imagine how smart he felt too. I could see him thinking ha I got you mom, again!
So now I am putting the boxes 2 high and setting his Elmo couch on it's side. You can't see the TV but it keeps his naughty, grimy, sneaky, slimy little digits off.
Please keep us in your prayers, cuz I'm not sure how much more I can take!

Do 1 year olds know how to spoon?

The other night I was playing with Logan on the floor and I was laying on my side with my head resting on the otoman. Logan came crawling over and layed on HIS side and put his head on my arm. He was spooning with me! That was the most tender form of love I can remember. I didn't even tell him to come lay with me he just did it. I love him so much!
Of course as this "tender" moment was happening I was thinking I want to remember this forever. Ok, so take a picture. Right. In the amount of time it took for me to say it out loud and for Rob to actually hear me and react to my demand it was too late. Logan was hip to my tricks. However, being much stronger than he is I was able to make him pose for the picture. So even though these pictures are somewhat posed it really did happen! And now I will never forget!
