We thought it was appropriate to buy Logan his very own iPod for his 18 month birthday(which was on July 1st and I didn't post about it)! Doesn't everyone do that?

I'm not sure how we're going to top that one! Maybe a laptop, a Wii, his first car!
Most people that meet our little angel say "wow, he's so good! I bet he's good all the time." Well folks, I wouldn't have a need for a cage if he was such a "peach" ALL the time! Here is the caged animal:

Ah, careful, he's trying to escape!
"Can I pay my debts in kisses?"
"PLEASE?!"
"oh please, please, please let me in. I don't know how much more of this I can take!"
"Well, I better make the best of it."
Our little deck, and I mean little, is perfect for Logan to get some fresh air. And no, I don't use it for a cage. But the pictures make it seem like it.
He is such a ham nowadays! So full of personality and attitude!
Our boy loves to help his daddy with any projects he has on his "honey-do-list". Tonight's project fixing Logan's highchair. It was brand new when we got it (from Nana-thanks again if you're reading!) But the darn screw in the back always fall out. It's really frustrating.

They sat under that highchair the entire time I cleaned up dinner! You should've heard their conversation. It's not so one-sided anymore. He's trying to talk more and more everyday!
We headed out of Seattle Thursday afternoon around 2:30pm. Our destination: Hickville, WA! JK, Arlington, Ok not really kidding. We kept tradition for yet another year. We were blessed enough to have the whole weekend off (3 1/2 days free from work related responsibility) and a Mother-in-Law apartment that was all ours! Thanks Dana for going on vacation, even though we missed you! Our annual 4th of July BBQ is usually at our friends Kris & Bekki's house, but this year they decided to join forces with another couple down the street from them. Everything turned out fabulouis! You'll find all the highlights below... Enjoy (we sure did)!!!

An hour later than we planned, but hey, better than 2 hours later! Logan was enjoying computer source magazine Daddy lent him. It made his car ride that much more enjoyable! It wasn't so enjoyable for the rest of us. Due to the freak'in traffic, it took us about an hour longer than usual.
Our second night at the Bolopue's. Spaghetti and homemade Italian bread for dinner. Logan liked it :) Totally buck naked and ready for the pool to wash him off. "Hey ladies, ever seen pipes quite this large? Dad says I get them from him."

Hmm, I guess he had to pee.
I guess he HAD to play in it too!

On the 4th. Once again not IN the water, out of the water.
OK fine then, Mom will enjoy the refreshing cold water. I'm not sure what planet our son came from, but who doesn't want to be cooled off on a 90 degree day?!

Logan and I running back and forth from the where Auntie Laura and Daddy were sitting to the bucket full of ice and Coronas (with a bowl of lime wedges)! I guess that was his way of "cooling off". We went back and forth for a long time. He eventually grabbed a lime and ate it like a champ! Everyone thought he was the cutest thing, running back and forth on the deck. I thought so too!

A big shout out to the Bolopue's for feeding us and letting us play all weekend! Oh yeah, and YaYa too for the pad!
