Wedding Weekend!!
We had quite the crazy weekend. On Friday (8.8.08) Rob had 2 cousins get married. One on each side of the family. Christa got married in Grapeview Wa and Mike got married in Utah but had a reception in Redmond Wa on Saturday. So we decided to go to Grapeview instead of Utah on Friday. Wow, what a beautiful drive! Christa & Shaun could not have asked for a more perfect day for an outside wedding. It what fabulous. The wedding started 45 minutes late and we were all in the direct sunshine. Good thing I was prepared with sunscreen, Logan would be a Lobster. He already bites like one I didn't need the red skin to add to it.
Still waiting for the wedding to start...
Still, you guessed it, waiting... but we seem to have found something new to touch.
"Alright Mom I can eat this too?!" Says Logan with out hesitation. As I am thinking once again...When is this wedding going to start?...
FINALLY! But worth the wait, isn't she stunning? So a quick funny story. While we were waiting and waiting and waiting for the wedding to start a huge gush of wind came through ( the wedding was at a Marina ) and knocked down the altar. Thankfully nobody was sitting in the front row yet because when it fell it totally demolished one of the chairs on the grooms side. It was scary. So the rest of the time Shaun (the groom) had one hand on the altar, then when his best man came up he held it for the remainder of the wedding. So if you look at the picture closely you can see that the flowers on the alter are not exactly in their place. He,he,he!
Shaun & Christa Messereli
During the ceremony, because it took so long, we gave Logan a bottle to keep him quite. But of course a baby has to burp a couple of times in between and let me tell you it was loud. He totally takes after his Momma (Sorry Logan). I'm sure you can probably figure out what kind of funky business he is doing here? All I can say is that I'm glad he waited until after the ceremony because he was loud!!
Logan standing like a big boy. He is getting to the point were he is pretty steady on his feet. He doesn't wobble as much anymore.
That big toofless grin gets me everytime. What a sweetheart. He just loves his Daddy. He probably thinks "wow, he looks just like me but REALLY big!" My boys look a lot alike. Logan is definitely NOT the Milk Man's baby!
Todd & Laura breakin' loose on the dance floor. Go Grandpa Toddy!!
All 3 of us "got down with it" on the dance floor. Logan already had his jammies on because it got really cold and it was 8pm by then. Heavenly Father knew what he was doing when he gave Logan to us, because that little boy loves to boogy!

Logan loves his Auntie Laura or Auntie L-Train as we all call her.
This is Shaun & Christa's wedding cake. Rob says it looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. I think it's pretty awesome! There was a chocolate layer, then vanilla then strawberry.
Mike & Melanie Fox. Melanie finally gave Mike the ultimatum after 2 1/2 years of dating and here they are sealed for all eternity.
The food at the open house was so incredible. Three different kinds of salad, lots of artisan bread, BBQ chicken that had been marinading for 24 hours, BBQ salmon and of course for dessert they had about 5 different tiers and 5 different flavors of mini cupcakes. It was a blast, CONGRATULATIONS Mike & Melanie we love you!
Logan was such a trooper the entire weekend, I am so proud of him!
