Welcome Home Elliott Piere Enyeart

This beautiful little boy that gets to call me Auntie came home early because of the earthquake in Haiti. My Aunt Julie has been in the process of adopting Elliott for almost 2 years. She was matched with him sometime in the Spring of last year but wasn't expecting to bring him home until this Spring or Summer. The earthquake has been a blessing for our family and a horrific tragedy for others all at the same time.

He is so stinkin adorable and he already fits right in. It's like it was meant to be ;)

This is Elliott's first night home. He's thinkin "lady, what in the world are you doing."He loves his mama.

He has the sweetest smile. And his laugh is raspy and contagious!

All he wanted was to be held. He finally has his very OWN mama! Those are few and far between when you live in an orphanage.

Julie feeding Elliott. It was important for Julie to do all the feeding and comforting until they were bonded. Elliott was totally soaking up all the attention he was getting. Look at those eyes!

Passed out. He had been on 1 Helicopter and 2 Airplanes in less than 24 hours of this picture. The poor kid was pooped {and that's a whole nother post!}.

Garrett holding Elliott. He was getting passed like a new born baby would. But didn't care.

The next morning Rob and Logan got to meet Elliott. Logan was thinking "hey kid, this is my house!" Since Logan has lived there longer than Elliott has :)

Elliott was still not sure about all these new people and new things.
It's fun to see Elliott in Logan's old clothes. Elliott turned 2 on October 26th, so even though he's older than Logan he's much smaller than him. But he will be catching up real quick I'm sure.

Is this a time-out or a time-in?

Still glued to her.

Logan making sure the cat's haven't forgotten him in the last 10 months! Nope, they haven't.

Elliott~ we are so happy you are in our family now! We can't wait to watch you grow and learn along side Logan.
