TOOFFERS X 2

He is almost 9 months and he finally got teeth. They arrived on Sunday September 21st. Before church I saw 2 red lines on his gums but couldn't feel anything, by the time we got home from church (3 hours later) I could feel them just barely. Then he went down for a 3 hour nap and I felt again and lo and behold 2 teeth. All within 9 hours, they sure move fast once they've crossed the thresh hold. Congrats Logan! You are that much closer to becoming a man.
I really wanted pictures but Logan really didn't want pictures. I won!

So cute

Logan loves to hang out on our bed, that's were we all are in the morning, nap time, play time and bed time. It's a good place for us all!
One of Logan's favorite books. He know where to lift flaps and scratch textures. He is so smart!
SO BIG! Look at those legs, or ham hocks as Rob calls them. That is the only place on his whole body, except for his cheeks, that he has rolls. But they sure came in thick! There are a couple pairs of pj's that don't fit because his legs are too round.
My mom bought this for Logan a long time ago, I think went he was first born, but it's like a 12 monther. So here are the pics.....(mostly for my mom)
It also came with a square cuddle blanky(the little ones) and a pair of froggy slippers but the slippers don't fit anymore.

A distracted little boy; Bye-Bye nursing

Nursing has always been on the difficult side for Logan & I, but now that he is so interested in the rest of the world he thinks that I like to have my boob hanging out all the time while he observes the happenings. News flash Logan mommy hates it! (these pics were taken on 9/10/2008, we stopped nursing a few days after that because I was sick and tired of being bit all the time, not just sometimes but a few times a day. I don't want to hear about what I could or should have tried because I did try it. Don't get me wrong I miss nursing now that's it been 3 weeks or so but Logan is a lot more satisfied.)
"Oh momma. daddy is way more interesting, please can I play?!"
"NO, I said NURSE!" Trying to force a 20 pound baby is hard work.

Our little silly bean

So Rob is quite the craftsmen. When he worked at Scan Design he found some left over leather that was going to be thrown away, so he kept it and then asked me for a really strong sewing needle and some thread and he went to town on making a bag. He has a lot of patience for thing like that, the detail that he went into on it is amazing. I never could have sewn anything like that, and I'm the seamstress in our family.
We thought it was important to give you viewers an idea of how big the bag really was so who better than our Logy Bear to test it out. Isn't he so adorable?!
Can you see his mohawk? He had a patch of hair that is pretty long on top of his head so the hairdo works great for him.
Oh and if you were wondering if the drool faucet had turned off yet I think this picture will tell it all! I usually go through 5-8 bibs a day. It's driving me crazy!
Doesn't he just yank at your heart strings? It's those big baby blue's. I hope they stay that color forever. He will be able to get away with a lot more that way.

Happy Birthday Sweetest One!

The Birthday Boy! He turned 31 on August 27th. I was just really lame at blogging in the month of September. Sorry babe!
Continue on to see the fun that was had by all........
Heck yah, that's right, a Jenga tournament! It was between Rob's brother Aaron and Rob's best friend since kindergarten Kris. They were on fire. It went on and on and on.
Todd, Rob's dad, sitting back enjoying being entertained by the boys.
Family playing Phase 10.
Garrett and Jake playing the Wii. Yep, we had a Wii at the church, shh don't tell.
Sarah (sister-in-law), Tommy Joe right behind the Jenga tower, Bekki & Logan, and Kris concentrating very hard on winning.
One of my best friends Keri, her husband Pete and their baby boy Jack.
The worst part about posting pictures late is that I can't remember who won the dang game! I'm sure once others have read this posting they will let me know. All that matters is that we had a blast. We had the party at one of our church buildings. No cleaning my house before or after the party! Awesome! We played lots of games and the Wii and had ice cream sundaes and cupcakes for dessert. It was a succes!

WEEEEEEE!!!

Rob & I decided that it was about time to get Logan another toy. I don't know why we buy little kids toys because in the end all they want is the stuff in the "NO TOUCH" category. But an exersaucer is a toy Logan really loves. We have a "Johnny Jump-up" in our bathroom for him but I needed something a little more entertaining for him, and something that I could take with me if I needed. It's great I can put him in it and go shopping if I need to! (just kidding) But seriously, this thing has been a life saver, Logan's life that is. Some days I would like to climb under a rock! Come on Mommies & Daddies I know you're out there too we all have our days. But there are way more good days to document then bad.
He is the sweetest thing! Can you see that he is playing "Super Heros". His bib is his cape. I know, I know what a cool dude right?! Logan is my "Super Hero" everyday!

8 Months

Wow, time sure does fly when you're havin' fun! I can't believe Logan is 8 months already! He is starting to be more and more confidant in his motor skills. He has finally realized that he can roll to his back once he rolls to his stomach. He used to roll to his stomach and then "forget" how to roll back to his back. What a silly bean! He is getting really good at sitting up too! I think the Bebe Pod (the green chair in the pics below) is helping him a lot. Look at the pic above, do you see the slippers he is wearing? Auntie Julie bought those for him at the Evergreen State Fair. They are so adorable. Thanks Auntie I love you!
So you know how babies love to put everything in their mouths? Well mine dose especially. So our friends the Witters went out of town this Labor Day weekend and we got to house-sit! It was so much fun to play "house" again. As we were unpacking our stuff we put Logan in his Bebe Pod on the dinning room table ( yaya I know probably not the safest place, but the dogs were inside). I was in the kitchen and I hear Rob saying "Oh Logan do you have to eat everything in sight?" I turned around and found him eating the fake ivey plant on the table. So of course instead of taking it away from him we thought "capture this moment".

Logan: "Oh crap, I've been busted big time!"
Sorry Kristen, but Logan did manage to get some slobber on your ivey!
Way to go Logan now they won't ever ask us back again.

Their doggies: Ike (white w/ brown spots ) and Sophie ( brown ). They are very well behaved dogs, when your home(hahaha!). No really they are very good dogs. They love to play fetch, well Ike loves to play fetch but Sophie just wants to chase Ike. It's pretty entertaining. So those of you that know Rob really well know that he tends to re-name people, places, things, animals you name it so will he. Of course it's hard to resist when one of the dogs names is Ike. At least for Rob it was. So Ike was given "Ikeman" and Sophie was given "Tina". Yes I know my husband is...............GIFTED?! Is that what I'm supposed to call it? Oh well, life would be complelety dull without his sense of humor.

Some more good news, Rob started his new job today!!!! YIPPEE SKIPPY!!!
He is working for Cascade Medical. They supply equipment to mostley elderly homes.
Congrats Daddy, we are so proud of you!
